Jane Jacobs Medal – Dr. Joan Clos
The Color Machine went abroad to capture the story of leading urbanist Dr. Joan Clos, who was mayor of Barcelona from 1997-2006, a physician before that, and is now Executive Director of UN Habitat. Filming took place at the UN in New York, in London, and in Barcelona.
Come for the beautiful cityscapes, stay for Dr. Clos’ description of what makes a city magical.
This film aired as part of a series of events at UN Habitat III where Dr. Clos was being honored with the first International Jane Jacobs Medal.
