Styles P is a legend in hip-hop, having appeared on such hits as All About the Benjamins and Ryde or Die Chick while part of his former group The Lox. Araabmuzik is one of hip-hop’s brightest young producers. So when eOne asked Raafi to direct a music video for Styles P rapping on one of Araab’s beats we knew it would put the streets in a headlock. It did. The surprise came when Pitchfork asked to premiere it. MTV came around a couple weeks later. And just like that we’re sitting on a million views. (ed. update: 2 million views). The video is gritty to the core. Just like it should be.
