Rockhouse

The Rockhouse Foundation renovates educational spaces in Jamaica. Shot over the course of two trips to Jamaica nearly a year apart, this video chronicles the construction and renovation of the Negril Branch Library. An added bonus to this project was hearing architectural terms in an island accent. The cinematographer of this piece, Bradford Young, has since gone on to shoot major motion pictures including Selma, Solo: a Star Wars Story, and Arrival, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
